• The Vidyalaya is under administrative control of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi, Which is under the Ministry of Human Resources.The aim of Kendriya Vidyalaya is to provide education according to the Principles of the New Education Policy, to bring out the best and noblest qualities in children, to infuse in its students a feeling of patriotism, brotherhood and national integration so as to make them good and loyal citizens. 
• Details of school : Kendriya Vidyalaya are pace setting institutions in the country . Our Vidyalaya Started in 2010. The school has since then grown under the valuable and resourceful guidance of the VMC, sincere efforts of the staff and the hard work of students into a leading Kendriya Vidyalaya in the region Located in the midst of peaceful and serene atmosphere. 
• Our Vidyalaya provides the academic and co-curricular needs of children from various walks of life . KV UMARIA is a Civil sector school District: UMARIA M.P The Common syllabus, books, and uniform throughout country is the unique characteristics of KVs where syllabus is constructed by NCERT and affiliation is granted by Central Board of Education, New Delhi.

• The library, besides having an excellent print collection of over 1300 volumes of books &  reference books.
•  Library timing is 07:30 AM (Morning) to 01.40 PM (Afternoon).

• The Library is open from 07:30 AM to 01.40 PM (Weekdays).
• Second Saturday, Sunday and Government Holidays: Closed
• Documents Circulation: Monday to Saturday 07:50 AM - 01:30 PM

Objectives of the School Library

• Supporting and enhancing educational goals as outlined in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan’s mission and curriculum.
• Be the knowledge hub of the school and disseminate knowledge as widely as possible.
• Provide a curriculum-based, flexibly scheduled, open access learning environment that accommodates all learners.
• Facilitate optimal use of knowledge by all staff and students.
• Encourage and foster reading habit among staff and students.
• Effectively participate in the teaching-learning programmes of the school.
